  • Christine Cliatt Brown, MD, is a Behavioral Neurologist and assistant professor in the Division of Cognitive Neurology. Her mission in clinical practice is to help provide her patients and their families with answers and a better understanding of the diseases they face.


    Dr. Cliatt Brown received her medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She completed her internship in internal medicine and residency training in neurology at the University of Utah. She then went on to do a fellowship in Behavioral Neurology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. At Mayo Clinic, her research focused on anomia in Primary Progressive Aphasia and visual hallucinations in Dementia with Lewy Bodies. After completion of her fellowship, she returned to the University of Utah. One of her primary goals is to help train a new generation of neurologists who understand the complexities and nuances in dementia diagnosis and treatment.

    Dr. Brown was amazing. Very attentive and explained her diagnosis in terms my wife and I understood. Very polite, caring and pleasant. The best doctor we have seen for my wife's condition. I would highly recommend Dr. Brown.

    Dr. Christine Joy Cliatt Brown takes the time necessary to evaluate, explain and communicate her findings and diagnosis in a way I have never seen before from a doctor. Mike is 80 years old and has not received the care he is deserving of until we were accepted by Dr. Brown. She is such a great communicator and understanding of what we're going through with Mike's mental and physical challenges. She provided us with a script of what was discussed in our 2-hour appointment, as well as very valuable information about Mike's condition. I have to say, as 79-year-old woman, she is the most impressive doctor I have had the pleasure to receive care from. I highly recommend Dr. Brown.
